Find here our recommendations and advice for travelling to Rome from your respective home countries. The nearest airport to Rome is ‘Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO which is about 30 km (18 miles) from the centre of Rome. Additionally there is a smaller airport called Ciampino about 13km (8 miles) away from the centre.

From Jordan

From Amman Queen Alia airport there are plenty of flight options direct to Rome through Royal Jordanian, ITA Airways and Ryanair to name a few, with a duration of about 4 hours.

From Abu Dhabi

From Zayed International airport there are lots of options direct to Rome with Etihad, ITA Airways and Air Serbia. Duration is around 6 hours.

From London

From London, you have a few options in terms of airports including London City, London Stansted, Heathrow and London Gatwick. Direct flights are around 2.5 hours.
